Website copywriting for Cheltenham’s Willoughby House Hotel

My first project for MA Design involved SEO website copy for Cheltenham's luxury Willoughby House Hotel & Apartments. The Willoughby had a great story to tell – and a powerful proposition for business and leisure travellers seeking Regency style in the Cotswolds. First, I thoroughly understood the client's business culture and the unique benefits that differentiate the Willoughby from other Cheltenham luxury hotels.

Next, I developed engaging copy and integrated identified keyword sets for simultaneous appeal to site visitors and search engines. Within a few weeks of the website launch, MA Design's website design and my copy were delivering enhanced Google search results. Not long afterwards (and with MA Design's blessing), the Willoughby House team asked me to write the copy for their new hard copy brochure...

Another assignment for MA Design found me amongst the warehouses and curtainside trailers of a leading Gloucestershire based haulier. Working with MA Design and their SEO consultant, I developed and wrote a suite of benefit-laden pages around identified page keyword sets. Again, a key part of the challenge was to create copy that would appeal to potential Hacklings clients as well as the search engines.

This time, I worked on the website for a quaint, Painswick, Gloucestershire-based antiques and collectibles shop. Palletisation and Hazchem were replaced by Victorian ephemera, shabby chic treasures and vintage home wares 7#8211; what stayed the same was my attention to detail, skilled keyword placement and committment to capturing the unique essence of this fascinating Cotswolds retailer.
