I receive a lot of copywriting enquiries along the lines of 'I want to do a brochure...website...case study...etc.; please could you give me a quotation.'

I'd love to and I always respond to enquiries. But because I can usually prepare fixed price quotations, such a limited brief makes it impossible to do more than respond with a day rate – pretty much meaningless unless you know the quality and writing speed of a copywriter!
