Safety Testing Limited specialises in landlord safety testing and the installation and maintainance of gas, oil, solar and ground source heating systems. As part of their marketing, they recently needed a technical website and brochure copywriter. Being locally based in Cheltenham, and having a unique technical, marketing and PR background, I was ideally placed to help the team with their copywriting.

As part of Safety Testing's continued growth, they recently hired me as copywriter for a two-sided A5 flyer promoting the legal requirements for annual landlord safety testing as well as Safety Testing's other services.

Website copywriting

Another project for Safety Testing Limited involved working as technical website copywriter for a complete overhaul of their website. They'd long realised that their website needed the attention of a professional copywriter. But, as engineers rather than writers, they weren't sure where to turn for the new content they needed. That's where I was able to help.

As well as reviewing and rewriting existing copy and generating new copywriting to reflect changes in the business, I incorporated additional pages to improve the site's appeal to visitors and make it more search engine friendly.

Energy Performance Certification (EPC) brochure copywriting

I must have done something right last time because Safety Testing asked me to write a new brochure to promote their Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) testing service. As usual, the team wanted copy 'yesterday' – and, as usual, it was a pleasure to deliver it.
