Who owns the copyright on the work you do for me?
Until I have been paid, I retain the copyright on all work that I do. Once I've received payment you're automatically granted a perpetual licence to use all copy created for the purpose it was produced. While I reserve the right to use the material I write to promote my business, and to promote you as a client (good for both of us), I'll always respect your reasonable wishes about confidentiality (where, for instance, the copywriting does not appear in the public domain) or deferring appearance on the website for a reasonable period. Please discuss your requirements with me when you brief me for a job.
