What does a typical copywriting brief consist of?
Taking the time to write a simple, clear brief is always worth the effort. At very least, a good brief should answer the following questions:
- What's the deadline?
- What's the budget?
- Who is the target audience?
- What's the objective?
- Where will it appear (brochure, website etc.)?
- Why has it come about?
- What tone of voice does it need?
