I’ve been working with Tewkesbury-based Mosaique Design (now Mosaique Creative & Marketing) as a freelance copywriter since 2007. Our partnership began when Mosaique wanted the services of an experienced, locally-based writer with a good grasp of technical subjects and the ability to relate to Toyota dealership teams while researching for projects.
My first project was a single DPS in a Toyota newsletter aimed at the independent motor repairers. Here’s how the partnership evolved.
Technical copywriting and newsletter copywriting targeted at the UK independent motor repairers (IMRs) with the objective of promoting Toyota genuine parts sales.
It's amazing to consider how far we've come together since I started working with Mosaique Design in 2007. In the automotive space, a partnership that started with Toyota continues 12 years later with work on Bentley Motors' 2019 Bentley Collection Retailer Guide.
What a privilege it was to work on the comprehensive retailer guide book that supports Bentley dealerships as they recommend and sell Bentley-themed lifestyle accessories to owners and enthusiasts. It was a particular honour given that 2019 is the Centenery Year for this quintessentially British automotive brand.
My brief – against a tight deadline – was to craft nearly 70 product descriptions that captured the essence of Bentley accessories ranging from bespoke Polo shirts and exquisite model Bentley cars, to a special line of Bentley fragrances and evocatively-themed Le Mans luggage.
Technical/marketing copy for home security products – for Cooper Security's i-on product range and Touchpoint installer support initiative.
Following the success of my work for Toyota GB, I was invited to write for another Mosaique client, Forest of Dean-based Cooper Security, the owner of iconic security industry brands such as Menvier and Scantronic. Copywriting for Cooper Security included the following:
Copywriting on a suite of specifier and vertical market brochures, as well as product launch materials for this important Evesham-based business.
After automotive components and home security, it made a change to work on writing about commercial flooring for Karndean International's new product literature.
