You need well-written online or print articles about fashion and style? Great! I'm an experienced copywriter based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. I may be able to help with your fashion copywriting. It depends on what you want, so let's have a chat.
In June 2018, Uchi Clothing launched its new Uchi Horology Collection of timepiece art – initially with watch-related art prints and t-shirts,. I was delighted to get involved with Michael Langley, the creative force behind Uchi – and a brand ambassador for watch brand Geckota too. What a thrill it was to be able write about Uchi, art works, Le Mans, Steve McQueen, the Heuer Monaco racing chronograph and more for the Uchi website. It was heaven for a watch industry copywriter who adores design and motor racing...
If it's about watches, or maybe clothing product descriptions for your own website or Amazon, I can often craft engaging content when you or your client don't have the time, specialist skills or inclination to write. And if by any chance it's not a topic or a product that really catches my imagination, don't worry. I may be able to find another excellent freelance fashion copywriter who is perfect for you and your brand.
On several occasions now, I've worked with Shetland-based knitwear entrepreneur Mati Ventrillon to tell the story of her brand, the history of Fair Isle knitwear including its role in twentieth-century fashion, and the place of the Mati Ventriillon brands in the future preservation of these luxury garments.
My work on Mati's website copy has included scene-setting pieces about the history of Fair Isle knitwear, product descriptions and website content supporting the Mati Ventrillon, MV Collection and Artisans brands.
In each case, writing was preceeded by long discussion with Mati to understand her brand and its positioning as an authentic luxury Fair Isle craft product. I spent hours reading up on the history of Fair Isle knitwear, as well as editing and rewriting Mati's own notes. Throughout the writing process I worked closely with my French-Venezualan client to interpret her vision and develop the new ideas and messages that our collaboration prompted. And always, as is so often the case, against a tight website launch timescale.
From website content to press releases and brochure copy, I use my freelance writing skills to get copywriting off your to-do list and out in the market so it can work for you. Please forget cheap copy mill articles, using manufacturers' own product descriptions (Google will hate you for it), or $5-an-article rubbish from an overseas 'website content writer' who doesn't have English as their first language!
When I write for you, what you get are properly researched and written pieces that we'll both be proud of. Yes, I think we should talk about your style and fashion copywriting...
