It was a familiar situation for a busy Gloucestershire copywriter: a time-pressured organisation with a strong proposition – but not the specialist writing skills or the time to do their own copywriting.
When Cheltenham based hot gas filtration specialists Glosfume Limited needed technical and marketing copywriting for an updated website, a new brochure and other marketing materials, they understood the advantages of hiring specialist copywriting support and Googled 'copywriters technical Gloucestershire'. My SEO copywriting obviously worked; we were soon collaborating on Glosfume's marketing materials and making a noticeable difference to how they communicated with their prospective and current customers.
After reviewing Glosfume's objectives and the new content they wanted to incorporate, I worked with their website designer and SEO consultant to generate fresh, customer-centric copy for a completely overhauled website. As well as emphasising the many benefits Glosfume offers to hot gas filtration clients around the world, the new website offered a wonderful opportunity to update their installation case studies – as well as helping to keep them at the top of their identified keyword and key-phrase search results in the search engines.
Following the successful launch of the new website, Glosfume asked me to rewrite and update their main technical brochure. Having carefully listened to Glosfume's requirements for the new 16-page publication, I worked closely with the Glosfume team and their graphic designer to develop an updated, benefit-led and customer-centric copy platform, apply a consistent writing style and simplify the Glosfume proposition.
As with the website, my input helped Glosfume to complete a long-overdue copywriting project and get a vital piece of marketing collateral into the marketplace. By letting me get on with the nitty gritty of copywriting, the Glosfume team was able to concentrate on what it does best – designing and installing market-leading gas filtration installations.
