Customer success stories (also known as 'customer stories', 'client success stories' or the 'hero story', are another way of getting your customer to 'blow your trumpet' in their words. They are another way to describe the much-loved case study.
Just imagine what you could do with a few well-researched and engagingly written customer success stories in your sales presenter or portfolio:
Airlines use customer stories, computer hardware businesses use them, multinationals and micro-businesses all use them. They work equally well for corporations, not-for-profits or charities. Everyone loves a great story – and storytelling is now one of the hot topics in brand writing. So what are you waiting for? How about getting them working for you before your biggest competitor does? Unfortunately, there's a skill to effective customer success story writing. That's where I can help.
Well-written customer case studies are vital sales and marketing tools that you can use in a variety of media with little, if any reworking. That makes each story an exceptionally versatile write-once, use many times, piece of marketing collateral. There are plenty of resources on the Internet that tell you about how to write these stories – and how to use them to influence prospects and existing customers alike.
Do you really have the time or specialist skills to write your own customer service success stories? Unfortunately, with so many pressing business tasks on your to-do list, it’s all too easy for good intentions to turn into another lapsed project. And that’s a shame when your customers’ words and voices could be working hard to sell your organisation. Fortunately, there’s a simple way to capture those large and small business success stories. And here it is…
Although you may not have the time, the specialised skills or the inclination to create your own success stories, I do. I write lots of case studies for clients facing exactly the same time-pressures as you. I’ve written customer success stories about organisations in fields including these:
Whatever your line of business, and that of your customers, I get vital success story copywriting off your to-do list and ready for you to use. Of course, you’ll need to brief me and review my drafts, but I do everything else:
Suddenly, researching and writing engaging, persuasive customer success stories just got easier. Within a few days, the idea that has lingered on your to-do list for weeks or months can become a reality. And all because I’m there to write while you get on with what you do best for your organisation.
